    How to build a workout

Name your workout, pick a format, and add exercises from the library above — squats, pushups, burpees, curls, and 45+ more, organized by muscle group. Set reps or time for each exercise, reorder them however you like, and generate a share link. The link opens in the MyRepsCount app, where your phone's camera counts every rep automatically, hands-free. (Prefer to log by hand? The app has a full manual workout log too.) You can also send the link to friends so they can take on the exact same workout and compare results on the leaderboard.

    Standard vs AMRAP vs Tabata

Standard is the classic format: a fixed list of exercises, each done for a set number of reps or seconds, repeated for one or more rounds. Best for strength routines and structured sessions.

AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) flips the goal: you set a time limit — say 10 minutes — and cycle through your exercise list as many times as you can before the clock runs out. Great for conditioning and for measurably beating your last score.

Tabata is high-intensity interval training: short work bursts separated by short rests. The classic protocol is 8 rounds of 20 seconds work and 10 seconds rest — four minutes that feel much longer. Our builder lets you adjust rounds, work, rest, and prepare time.

How to build a Tabata workout

Choose Tabata as the workout type, keep the default 20 seconds work / 10 seconds rest, and pick 1–4 exercises that you can perform fast with good form — burpees, squats, high knees, and situps are popular picks. Beginners can start with 15 seconds of work and 15 of rest, then work toward the classic 20/10. Add a 10-second prepare countdown so you can set your phone down and get in position before the first interval starts.
