Looking for a free Tempo alternative?
Tempo's smart weights and coaching are impressive, and they only count reps with Tempo hardware, an iPhone, and a monthly membership. MyRepsCount counts your reps with the phone you already have.

Why people switch
Works on Android
Tempo is iPhone-only. MyRepsCount runs on iPhone and Android.
No hardware, no membership
No $39 a month, no 12-month commitment. Rep counting is free.
Counts your own gear
Your dumbbells, your kettlebell, your bodyweight. No branded weights needed.
Where Tempo is better
We make MyRepsCount, so here is the part most comparison pages leave out.
- It recognizes the weight you are using and logs the load automatically.
- Set-to-set weight recommendations from your reps-in-reserve answers.
- A full weight set and TV coaching in one package.
- Body-composition scans and Apple Watch heart-rate zones.
How MyRepsCount counts your reps
-
Prop your phone up. Floor, shelf, or against a water bottle, with your whole body in frame. -
Train hands-free. The camera tracks your movement on the phone and counts each full rep. No video is recorded or uploaded. - Or log it by hand. Anything the camera can't count goes in the manual log, with weights, rep ranges, and supersets.
